XD

How long did it take you to find a Delphox? That seems like a huge coincidence to me, since I never see any Delphoxes.

Can you breed Knock Off onto a Bulbaman, or is it transfer only?

@ rojse

I run Soft-boiled + Wish because it allows me to use Soft-Boiled for healing Chansey and Wish for healing the team. The difference is that it allows me 32 healing PP instead of a much more stallable 16. In long games using Wish 16 times isn't unheard of and having basically unlimited healing PP really helps against teams with Roost Charizard Y or Recover Starmie or whatever that Chansey walls but can't really kill.

Running Wish + Protect leaves me more vulnerable to PP drain in long games but also makes Chansey heal slower, so burn / toxic / sandstorm / leech seed do more damage overall. I originally ran Wish + Protect but I had trouble with people switching in a setup sweeper in on the Wish and basically forcing me to switch out and not heal Chansey when rocks + attacks were wearing her down.

@ Dark_Abaddon

Unaware Clefable is good but I like Quagsire for its higher Defense and better ability to beat Mega Lucario and Tyranitar. Clefable is really good though. Sometimes I switch out Chansey for Magic Guard Clefable, but then stupidly strong things like Charizard Y or LO Heatran call for something a little more bulky. Chansey also passes Wishes that generally return my teammates to 100% health, where Clefable's restore maybe 50-60%.

@ psp91

Perhaps I will run Assault Vest Delphox? Heatran is overrated!

@ Wetstew

Mega Venusaur can tank hits from Gliscor but I usually just send Skarmory in to PP stall it (I can't kill it but Sub Toxic can't touch me and it ends up PP stalled by SR + Defog).

No to Worry Seed. The four moves on Megasaur are pretty much irreplaceable. Worry Seed isn't permanent so they can just switch out. I would probably just run Leech Seed if I was to drop Sludge Bomb because Leech Seed forces switches and Knock Off can punish them.

If you haven't tried Mega Venusaur before give it a shot. It basically doesn't care about damage. Even Talonflame only does like 60% with Brave Bird.

@ 84Mantines

I played probably close to 40 matches the past few days and it was the only Delphox I saw. It was the last match I played before posting this team so I figured I would link the replay.

@ BadDecisions

Sadly no. :(

This team would be exceedingly difficult to create on the DS. With Pokebank I have most of the things I need (including Wish Chansey) but Knock Off Venusaur is annoyingly rare.

Darn. I know some of the Tutor moves can be egged on, so I was just kind of hoping. I'd need to actually have a good Bulbasaur in B/W2? That biiiiiiites. I wanted to use a Mega Venusaur, but the standard set is really boring and Knock Off is my ****.

I know right!? I think I have some friends who RNG'd in BW and DP so all I need to do is find a flawless Bulbasaur and I can tutor the rest... sounds... easy enough?

What changes have you decided on so far?

Darn, I'm going to have to do some breeding in B/W2 to get my Venusaur. The Destiny Knot spoiled me.

I was really hoping that Move Tutored moves would be passed down like TMs are in this game.

Yeah, I don't look forward to breeding in XY. I guess it doesn't really need flawless stats though and the ability isn't important. Maybe I'll just hack two flawless parents to speed the process.

As for changes...

Chlorophyl > Overgrow on Venusaur
Toxic over Whirlwind on Skarmory (maybe)
Sacred Sword > Shadow Ball on Aegislash (maybe)

I also thought about Gliscor > Skarm running the same set but with EQ > Whirlwind. Skarmory has been sub par but has also been irreplaceable.
