You have to admit... The graphics aren't that great

Compared to other games, they're not that great, but no main Pokémon series game has had great graphics, so that's hardly a surprise.

Compared to earlier generations, these graphics are a huge improvement.

It is a remake, not my fault you people think ports are remakes (but only on Nintendo systems)-Demondog666 on Kid Icarus Uprising

I agree that the graphics aren't good. I know Pokemon isn't about graphics, but that doesn't mean they should remain bad and poorly done. The game should still look nice.

>Brings up the best being gen2

Must be my morning sickness. What I mean to say is if I consider thos gen superior, it be superior as gen 2. Only because the game feels empty. Other gens above it depends on what you ask about my judgment

Lol it's fine. I kinda have to agree a bit, but it depends. Pokemon animation is honestly awesome for its cel shaded style. Overworld of course is not.. I also prefer Unova as a region with all its beautiful places like Underwater Tunnel, Ferris Wheel etc which i sometimes revisit just because. This gen has none like that

I think the graphics are nice. I think they should've worked more on polishing the framerate, but you know.

One of my favorite art changes is Brave Bird. Its great. But really, this generation keeping it somewhat simple was a good idea. We've started moving away from static pokemon, to models that actually do things in battle.

Its not a imple process, and you don't want to throw too much at players at once. While the change is a good thing, too much can be off-putting.

What I'm talking about is that the 3D models are similiar to what PBR. Sure they smoothed the edges, but I didnt understand all the hype about it at first. More so this game is hardly 3D compared to other games.

Now when I'm thinking deeply about this, maybe gen 6 won't be the best gen even when the final version comes out... If best probably gen 2.

How do you feel about the games now? Has your opinion changed? I know mine has if I gone back to White. (gen 5)

Did you play older pokemon games? The different in graphic of gen 6 is like between heaven and earth :D. They are not at the level of GTA5 yet but Pokemon doesn't need to be.

I have been playing FireRed this week, and Fly is just

Your pokemon, turning into a blue ball and on turn two, blue ball hitting the pokemon.

Even with attacks that don't look WOOSH, IMPRESSIVE, Fly isn't bouncy blue ball anymore
