Gen 1 had a lot of Poison types, didn't it? Wow...

Eldritch abominations from beyond the edge of the planes are easily intimidated.
However, they can be very intimidating themselves.

I'm pretty sure that roughly half of the Poison-types that are currently in the game came from gen 1.

Gen 1 had bulbasaur line, and the nidos.
Gen 4 had croagunk
Gen 5 had amoongus.

Those are all the poisons I like. Gen 1 wins from having the most.

Wait...didn't gen1 do the worst for poison types? I mean, there were no good poison moves and EQ weakness didn't help either. Gen5 probably gave the most number of viable poison types since Gengar was the only viable poison type until Scolipede's speed boost, and Weezing's access to levitate. Gen1 had a bunch of poison types, but they were honestly mostly filler since most tended to be terrible.
