Should I even bother transferring Dream World Pokemon from Gen V?

...Am I missing something or can I not change boxes in PokeTransporter? It's only asking me if I want to transfer Box 1. Because this would be ridiculous if I can't.

You can only transfer from Box 1. Kinda stupid, I know, but you gotta admit, transferring 30 at a time is a hell of a lot better than transferring 6 at a time.

Some are only available by being transferred in, such as Stantler. Serebii's Pokédex will indicate whether transfer is necessary for the Pokémon to have its Hidden Ability.

That would take ridiculous amounts of time to search individually though. Anyways, I just realized I could use the list of unobtainable Pokemon and single out the ones that have Hidden Abilities.

Actually, just found this page, this should speed things along. Scroll down to where it says "Hidden Abilities Through Transfer".

Honestly, not really, in my opinion.

- I have to constantly switch games
- I need to constantly rearrange my Pokemon in my B/W/B2/W2 boxes
- Bulk transfer only with zero search function forces spending time into sorting Pokemon

I would argue that the act of uploading an entire box of pokemon, switching games, transferring it, then going back to the Gen V game takes about as much time, or even less, than 5 PokeTransfers from Gen IV to V. It's almost laughably stupid and undoubtedly inconvenient. The sole positive to V-VI transfer is that it doesn't require a second handheld to do (though given plenty of peoples' willingness to waste money on every special edition 3DS, I wouldn't be surprised if the second handheld wasn't even a problem).

Thanks for that list though.

I thought it was alright... I transfered all of my Gen V poke's just for the heck of it... And in case of transfer-only hidden abilities, which I didn't know how to check...

I'm only transferring stuff that I can't get otherwise. If I can get it in gen 6 somehow, I don't think I need to transfer it.

I made a list a while ago if you want to use it. Pokemon with asterisks next to their names are still available in gen 6, but without the hidden abilities. Pokemon without asterisks aren't available at all (though there are a lot of legendaries that don't really apply to what you want).
