Sounds pretty good. Any other suggested movesets? Ideally one that could be either for Mega or regular Banette so I can switch up my team as needed.

Banette isn't worth using UNLESS it's Mega, so if you do decide to switch up your team, switch Banette out with it. --- Your friendly neighborhood black guy, now in e-form! FC: 0834 1716 7409 Trainer name: Albert
Banette @ Banettite Ability: Frisk/Insomnia Careful Nature EV's: 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 SpD - Destiny Bond - Taunt - Will-O-Wisp - Knock Off/Shadow Claw
I use the same moveset but Shadow Claw instead of Taunt. --- 3DS FC: 2148-8246-7937 Octillery, Wartortle, and Frogadier

I figured! I have a Mega Banette on one of my teams, and I love it. The set I usually run is:
Banette w/ Banettite Cursed Body (Frisk would be a better option, though. Mine just already had Cursed Body)./ Prankster Adamant 252 HP/252 Atk/ 6 Def
Protect/Shadow Sneak Thunder Wave Destiny Bond Phantom Force/Knock Off/Shadow Claw
T-Wave and Phantom Force work pretty well together, and Banette has a huuuge attack stat. Not the best set, but it works. Priority Destiny Bond is just great.
The problem with Banette is that Prankster doesn't work until the turn AFTER you evolve, so you need protect, unless you can revenge kill something weakened with Shadow Sneak. If you do decide to run Shadow Sneak, then use Knock Off instead of Phantom Force or Shadow Claw, so you aren't walled by Normal-types. --- Your friendly neighborhood black guy, now in e-form! So... if I'm getting this right, I could Phantom Force into mega-evolving, then whether they switch out or not, I'll at least have a shot of dealing some damage. :D

The problem with that is that Banette is slow, and fairly frail as well. It's not taking more than 2 hits under ideal conditions. --- Your friendly neighborhood black guy, now in e-form! FC: 0834 1716 7409 Trainer name: Albert
