Worst in-game battle EVER!

Nuzlocking a randomized-emerald, so I can have a different experience.

Starter: Seedot (Bide/Harden/Growth)
Others: Poochyena (Tackle/Howl/Sand Attack)
Rhyhorn (Horn Attack/Tail Whip)

NPC sends out Duskull. And, not thinking, I use Sand-Attack to help keep him off me while I wait for him to Struggle.

One should never have a 30 minute battle against a level 5 Duskull.

Any other terrible trainer battles/mean-looked wild battles (idea is you can't escape) that you guys wanna share?

Ahh...too bad it wasn't in Gen 4...Bide would've worked again.

My great weakness is the love I have for the fair sex, and pretty much all my trouble comes from or can be traced to that charming source.

I spent 30 minutes fighting a Stall Walrein in the Maison yesterday.
30. MINUTES.
In the end I just built up to +6 on my Leafeon and crit Leaf-Bladed it.
Use rest to recover from that after 3 Stockpiles, you fat jerk.

Not changing this sig until I have at least one Shiny version of each Eeveelution.

Man battle facilities and double team, NEVER FAILS to annoy. I struggled against Maractus of all things, and an Empoleon beat my guys with whirlpool due to it. That took forever.

The worst for me was a double battle in Diamond's Victory Road. This was in the foggy room so accuracy was already hit or miss for both sides. The opponents had a Quagsire that spammed yawn and a Gastrodon that managed not only to hit, but also reduce my accuracy using muddy water 5 turns in a row.

It's funny that you ended up getting a critical hit on it. It ignored your +6 atk and his +3 def anyway

No no, Gen VI still counts your positive stat stage changes and your opponent's negative stat stage changes

What it DOESN'T count is your pokemon's negative stat stage changes and your opponent's positive stat stage changes.
