I'd love it. I used to study glitch pokemon in my free time a few years back.

I would sell the game. I don't understand why glitch Pokémon are so popular.

I see it as a whole other side of the Pokémon world for the player to explore. Plus, a lot of them are pretty damn good in battle! .4 has balanced stats, a move that increases Evade by 2 stages, and no weaknesses. A is probably the fastest thing in the game and learns Transform.

And TC, to answer your question, I would be enthralled, I would be overjoyed, I would be excited beyond excitement, and would strive to catch 'em all. Maybe even recreate the teams of the protagonists of 404 Error.

Okay, Gen VIII has just come out. You've beat the Elite Four in the games, and just got an item called the "Reveal Scope" - kinda like the Reveal Glass and the Silph Scope put together. You go into a cave. At the center is a room with a bird in it. It's a Legendary Pokemon that the inhabitants of the village around that cave claim distorts reality and even alters it. You enter a battle with this creature - apparently called "Ongnissim"

You see a text box that reads:

"The Reveal Scope revealed Ongnissim's true form!"

The graphics become scrambled. It becomes 2D and begins to become a square. A mouth and an eye (this is sideways) forms on the left, then it gets thinner above the eye. A classic backwards L-block takes shape.

You recognize it immediately.

It's MissingNo.

I'm ok with this up until this point. Honestly it be a fun call out to the old days. That said, I would like to see them do something interesting with the type (not giving it one that doesn't exist) and I don't mind it having its 'original' attacks in its move pool.

Beyond that, no other glitches need in game. No 999 of items. They can mention something in its dex if they want, saying "that in the past there were rumors of trainers having the items multiplied by this pokemon, but since there has been no instances of this happening" or something of the sort.

If the pokemon were recognized by the game and the storyline they wouldn't be true "glitch" pokemon.
