My Scrafty was hit by Hyper Voice for super effective damage. Hyper Voice on bulbapedia is listed as a normal move. Jellicent was then hit with the "normal" Hyper Voice and it should have been immune. It wasn't.
Then this happened. Jellicent used Ice Beam! It's super effective! The opposing Zapdos lost 36% of its health! Jellicent used Ice Beam! The opposing Zapdos lost 15% of its health!
Why was it super effective once and not the second time? --- FC: 1607-2093-0623 Ground - Wooper, Dugtrio, Palpitoad
Was Hyper Voice used by Sylveon or Mega Gardevoir? If so, their abilities changed it to the Fairy-type.
Did Zapdos Roost before the second Ice Beam? If so, Zapdos lost its Flying-type and became pure Electric during that turn causing Ice Beam to hit neutrally.

Sylveon or Mega Gardevoir used Hyper Voice. Their ability Pixilate turns Normal moves into Fairy moves, so that's why Scrafty got wrekked.
Roost removes your Flying type during that turn, so after using Roost, Zapdos is neutral to Ice Beam as it's considered pure Electric at the time. --- Official Manectric and Creator of the B/W, BW2, and XY Boards Clan 5000-1900-5785 | IGN: Kairos | Trapinch, Camerupt, Palpitoad

Roost, when used, Pokemon lose Flying type for that turn. So no flying means no super effective ice because Electric Zapdos is not weak to ice. --- 3DS FC: 4570-7953-4737 OGPC ID #00045

Pixilate makes Hyper Voice Fairy type, thus making it SE against Scrafty.
Zapdos must have used Roost. Roost makes the pokemon a normal type for the rest of the turn.

Roost removes the Flying Type from the pokemon using it for that one turn. It's because the pokemon is "resting", so it's not flying --- 3DS FC : 1762 3501 1502 IGN: Navi Gogoat Express Breeder! TSV: 3342
