My advice, use Quick Attack OR Return, not both, so you aren't walled as easy. Then use that slot not used by one for Close Combat.

i really wouldn't do this tbh. they both have very useful merits and stab flying in this metagame is amazing, just look at talonflame for proof of that

Definitely don't do this. Close Combat covers so few things for Pinsir.

Quick Attack is for priority.
Also, sweepers shouldn't be getting walled unless you're losing. Their job is to clean up the opponent's team at the end of the battle. Besides, Fighting + Ground is terrible coverage-wise. It's so redundant that you'll find that you're not even using one of them.

Quick Attack is for priority.

Flying STAB isn't amazing. It's a meh offensive typing, and the main reason Talonflame gets away with it is because of the power of it and the Priority.

If Pinsir got Extremespeed, I'd be more inclined to agree with you.
