I have been trying to hatch a pokemon using the method. I have a poke in the daycare with a japanese ditto. So far I have hatched around 2600 eggs without results. What is the rate for it?

every time you hatch a egg you have the same chance. So you could hatch two shinies in a row or you could take 1 million eggs(highly unlikely almost impossible). The masuda method increases your chances but it still takes work. --- freind code 2337-5161-5138 ign: mewman grass, sawsbuck, gogoat, sunkern
Ah well. Does the everstone/destiny knot affect it anyway?

everstone passes down the equipped pokemons nature and destiny knot passes down 5 of the IV from the parents but does not effect shiny chances --- freind code 2337-5161-5138 ign: mewman grass, sawsbuck, gogoat, sunkern
