Everyone thinks its steel, but its weak to fire moves, earthquake, and fighting moves, which are pretty damn common in the OU tier.

I would say fairy is the best defensive typing. It resists a lot of offensive movesets and is immune to a common offensive type.

But seriously Ghost, Normal, Water or Grass, most electric types are too frail to be defensive, the only exceptions are Zapdos, Thundurus, Lanturn and Eelektross
