I came back to the game a little while ago after a hiatus since gen 3.

I just need some team suggestions to work around Mega Heracross and Snorlax.

Well, you need something that can cover their weaknesses. Rotom wash, tyranitar, and clefable all work.

Something like rotom-w or another talonflame counter (Heracross 4x weak to priority brave bird? Ewww). On the same note, rock support would be nice. (Remove 50% of talonflame health on the switch) Could do skarmory. Or mammoswine.

Would Aerodactyl take Talonflame well? I'm lost in the meta atm mind you, that's why i ask.

I love both of them

Snorlax with Assault Vest can take like any Special Attack the enemy throws at it. And Mega Heracross can take care of Bisharp and is an amazing wallbreaker

Normal aerodactyl gets 2HKO'd by Banded Brave bird. 252+ Atk Choice Band Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Aerodactyl: 167-197 (55.4 - 65.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

this is what you need to survive
252+ Atk Choice Band Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 32+ Def Aerodactyl: 144-171 (39.5 - 46.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Aerodactyl could, but it's very frail and weak to aqua jet and bullet punch, wasting that high speed.
Rock isn't a very good defensive type, funnily enough.

Keep a Heatran for TF. It doesn't even care for boosted U-Turn unlike Tyranitar and can just Stealth Rock+Roar it.
