Wonder trade surprises you got

Just a few minutes ago in my pokemon x game, I wonder traded a lileep and got a phione from someone from Washington.

A freakin phione. Surprised the hell out of me.

Isn't a phione supposed to be a "legend" pokey or something?

A shiny inkay, adamant, 6ivs with contrary... I kind of regret trading it away for a diancie though.

When I first saw that post from the other topic, I thought you were bing sarcastic, but now it seems you're serious.

I personally don't classify it as a legendary pokemon, but if you do, it is probably one of the most common ever considering it can breed.

For me, aside from getting a togekiss when I needed it, I got a random latios.

No, phione is breedable. Thus not really a legend.

Isn't a manaphy the evolved form of a phione?
#7BlissedIgnorancPosted 8/16/2014 9:21:28 PM
No, Phione doesn't evolve. Though if you breed a manaphy, it creates phione.

Uh ok.

So the phione pokemon are separate from manaphy?

In a way, yes. Phione is to Manaphy what a Carbink is to Diancie (w/o the breeding). They are related, and could be considered prevos (or in an infant state), and are not linked via evolution, despite the obvious relationship.
