Is Pokemon "open world"? If not, YR: next is a real "open world" Pokemon game.

When I say open world, I meant like the lines of GTA or Assassin's Creed.

Think about it. An open world Pokémon where you can do whatever you want to do. Wanna be a Pokémon trainer. Do it. Wanna be Pokémon tamer? Do it.

I'd just like NPCs that don't just repeat a single line of dialog and options for which gym I battle next (and appropriate level scaling to suit).

They should do it how it was done in Pokemon Origins, or even just Gen 1 or 2.

Give players the ability to challenge gyms in any order, and scale the trainers' Pokemon depending on how many badges you have. Gen 6 as a region had so many missed opportunities with this, especially that Lumiose blackout where you can't go anywhere, but all the NPCs can.
