Bad :|
Char Y is not something that can use a Bold nature, while Char X has some effective tank sets (ad even if you wanted to switch to X, a Bold nature really wouldn't work well)

Timid for Yzard, Impish or Jolly are both good on Xzard. The both get defensive boosts which complement their offensive ones, so Yzard becomes specially bulkier while Xzard becomes physically bulkier. Fire/Dragon's a pretty good defensive typing, so Xzard has ended up with some viable defensive sets. Additionally, Xzard can go mixed, so it's a strictly better Salamence for the most part.

Problem is Salamence runs a better mixed set thanks to Life Orb, Hydro Pump, and Draco Meteor.

I thought that YZard doesn't get a Defense boost?
