It shows up in the direct when it's talking about online.

A bunch of players have about 1000 VR, and the winner gets +44, while the guy in last gets -21. So it's a little more forgiving than MKW was, but still to a degree where you can lose it if you get too low.

Aw man. I'm a little down about dragging items not freeing up a slot. I guess I understand why but it'll be hard to get used to. Also I don't know how I feel about the speeding up by crashing into stuff during anti-gravity. Honestly I hope the anti-gravity remains a gimmick for just this game like the double Kart Racing.

They need to keep it for the retro tracks in future installments. Plus, it would appear as a step down. Double kart racing seemed like a one game gimmick. It didn't add much. Anti Gravity adds a lot of opportunity for course design and gameplay. Although, I do feel they should have a Double Dash mode.

What do you guys think of the item balance in this game so far? MK7 is bad when it comes to whoring out Triple Shrooms in low positions.

Also, is the Star faster this time?

I kinda like it. I'm missing that whole classic come-back thing you had in MKW where it was possible to come back from last place in a single lap, which, now you can gain a couple of positions max.

But it's probably better this way.

It just feels like the coin is a bit of a meh item. Give me at least a banana ffs.
