Solo raid mode

Since capcom blundered, if I were to grind to 50 would I be able to S-rank? I'd prefer to play co-op but I don't want to let their mistake ruin my enjoyment. Any expert advice would be appreciated.

Yes, although Abyss will be tough to S rank solo it is quite possible to do so at Lv. 50.

You can solo S rank all stages. Make sure you tread lightly, as every difficulty changes the placements of enemies. Some may pop out from corners that the previous difficulty didn't have.

Try to go for stuns so you can melee them. For most oozes, shoot the hands. You can also use pulse grenades for stuns.

Hunters, shoot them in the shoulders to knock them off their feet. If one is charging at you, headshot it to cause it to flip, allowing you to perform a melee on it as the hunter's on its knees.

Weapons with good stopping power & daze effects can help.

Just tell Samus you couldn't stop Mother Brain from taking over the galaxy because you were high. She'll understand....

Is it true about being able to use the infinite rocket launcher in raid mode? If that's the case, I'd imagine that would help a bit in easily getting S ranks in some stages... :P

^ No, only Campaign mode has an Infinite Rocket launcher. The only players that have an Infinite Rocket launcher in Raid Mode are hackers, and that completely kills the challenge anyway.

Ah. Alrighty.

Well, I guess I'll just need to find a good gun and use the right mods...Been reading about some ways to make a really, really good gun. Guess I'll have to work on making one of those then ^_^

If you're talking about the sniper rifle setup that empties all your ammo at once, that's not going to help you except for a boss fight.

You're probably better off farming BP to upgrade your guns to +30 on top of whatever mods you can stick on them.

Since you mentioned that, this reminded me of another hacker who tried to save himself by making a excuse his IRL was a pre-order bonus.

But by the time I read your post, he was already caught:

Did PS3 hacking became easy? I never seen so many hackers before.

No, but hacking RE games has always been easy, especially their online modes, lol.

I could have sworn I read something about a good magnum setup. The way I like to play is with a pistol, shotgun, and magnum...Though I suppose if I really want to do well, I'll have to switch things around a bit and use someone other than Parker... >_>
