8-4's doing the localization. Nintendo of America's handling everything else. It's the same deal as Fire Emblem: Awakening.

8-4 did Drakengard 3 and Dragon's Dogma. They didn't get censored at all.

This was entirely NoA's fault.

Wrong, period. I will now copy and paste a big post I made earlier today. Although, before that, I will point out that we know for a fact that Treehouse has a hardcore SJW feminist woman on their team who has made some really stupid tweets before. I'd bet money that she had a lot to do with the censoring of female characters in this game, and she's not part of 8-4. Now for the copy+paste.

I'm actually going to respond to this in its own special post. 8-4 were the team that localized Dragon's Dogma. Dragon's Dogma is a game where you could make a 12 year old girl, maybe 11. Not kidding, one of the presets is a child. The preset is 12-ish old looking girl, with barely pubescent boobs, a 4 foot and 5 inch (roughly 140-150 cm) height, a childish voice perfectly fitting for a 12 year old girl, and even has child proportions and facial and skeletal structure. You can also make one yourself if you don't want to use the preset as a good starting point. Here's an example, both seem to be the same character.

(yes, that is also a male child in the second pic. Males also have a child preset they can take and can also make a male child from scratch if they wish. Both loli and shota fans could have a lot of fun with this game.)

Any character can wear any armor in the game, nothing is censored. While I couldn't find a pic of a child character in this outfit, that little girl can be put into these clothes-

With this cleavage top-

See all that ass and cleavage? A 11-12 year old girl who looks like she's been in puberty for less than two months can wear clothes that show off her entire ass and about as much boob as possible for a game with no female nipples. And 8-4, the group that apparently loves to censor everything and can't stand child nudity (according to this board) did that localization.

Oh yeah, and... There's a romance system, and you can end up having a fade-to-black romance scene with whoever your approval was highest with. That can be any NPC. There's a number of children in the game. Have you figured out where I'm going with this? Yeah, your character can be a pedo and get it on with children in this game. Hell, you can make a female child be your character and have a lesbian child romance scene. 8-4 didn't censor any of this. So the narrative on this board about how they love censoring and altering everything is ludicrously ridiculous, and Dragon's Dogma is the proof.

The thing is, Drakengard 3 and Dragon's Dogma were targeting an M rating. This targets a T rating.

She does marketing, not localization.

That slider shouldn't have any effect on rating at all.

Has there been any T-rated game with something like that?
