In Madden 13 I could identify a high probability screen pass based on the formation. That seems to be completely gone in Madden 25 and it's pretty much unstoppable in man defense which is what I primarily use. So in Madden 25 how do I identify a potential screen pass and stop it?
I haven't played Madden 25, but I remember in previous versions that during a screen pass, the offensive line men just stand around for a second, then all run to the left or right with the running back. If you control the guy who's in man with the RB and follow him, you can get an easy pick 6 or tackle him for a loss. --- FC: 2809-8205-5326
I been using Cover 2 zone sink and it stops it better than anything else. --- Intel i5 2500k|8GB G.Skill RJaws|VelociRaptor, WD Fals|AsRock z68 Extreme4 G3|Sapphire 2GB 6970 OC'd |Corsair 520W PSU|Corsair 500R, K90, M95|ASUS Designo IPS
Offensive line just stand there for a second then flare out to the flats. HB just stands there too. I always use the MLB/OLB so I see it coming almost every time. --- GT - YELARAKA/RokSteadE (Member of RS Squad) How Bout Them Denver Broncos!!
So basically I won't know if it's a screen until the play starts (thats fine) and pretty much the only effective way to stop it is watch the linemen and control the LB? Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a shot. --- www.nohomophobes.com
Best way to stop it is always assume it's the next play. The cpu runs screens at least twice a game, and if you're expecting it, it's an easy interception or tackle for loss. Just take control of a blitzing lineman and spy the running back.
