In Madden 13 I could identify a high probability screen pass based on the formation. That seems to be completely gone in Madden 25 and it's pretty much unstoppable in man defense which is what I primarily use. So in Madden 25 how do I identify a potential screen pass and stop it?
I haven't played Madden 25, but I remember in previous versions that during a screen pass, the offensive line men just stand around for a second, then all run to the left or right with the running back. If you control the guy who's in man with the RB and follow him, you can get an easy pick 6 or tackle him for a loss.
So basically I won't know if it's a screen until the play starts (thats fine) and pretty much the only effective way to stop it is watch the linemen and control the LB? Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a shot.
Best way to stop it is always assume it's the next play. The cpu runs screens at least twice a game, and if you're expecting it, it's an easy interception or tackle for loss. Just take control of a blitzing lineman and spy the running back.
