Ok tried something different. I downloaded Minerva:

With that you can manipulate the .sol file in %appdata%\Anodyne\Local Store\#SharedObjects\Anodyne.swf
This is the save file. The problem is, that the variables are kept very obscure so its kind of hard to figure out what does what. Only thing I managed is that squirrel is the number of cards. The game will display the changed number on the loading screen but seems to calculate the real value after loading so It resets to 49 anyway. I think what would work is changing the value of card 50, if there is one so it will recognize a 50th card but for that the value must be found.

I have 50 cards. The door just isn't supposed to open. I'm not supposed to have 50 cards either. I dunno how I do, I remember finding number 50 next to the 49 door.

If next to the 49 door means the chest, on the "isle" to the right that is what the other people in the thread and I got as 49 so for some reason you got 1 card more. But the door has absolutely no reaction to 50 cards? Does the game display 50 on the in game cards screen or only on the load screen?

Yes got the Young card. The card screen is completely filled which equals 48 cards + the red cube card from the right of the 49 gate for the 49th.

For the record, there is somethign glitchy with the island where you get card 49. When i go back there, it automatically ups my count to 50 cards, though, like with adjusting the save file, when i reload the game, the count goes back down to 49. either way, as noted already, only 49 cards are meant to exist atm. anything else is a bug. and, regardless, dev has confirmed that the 50 gate does not open...

Which version of the game do you have? I think the variable for the cards are under rosemary. There are 48 values all on true for me.

That means the 49th card is given by some other means and probably just adds 1 to the counter and the game now makes sure, that the chest only can add one.

Bowl of cereal is the number of deaths.

I didn't find what I was looking for however. Where the ???? items in possession are stored. It should be a value between 11 (items I have now) and 16 (max number of ???? items).

I found the room in the beach area off of the archives that I *think* is the area everyone has been referring to as the location of the blue cube...but I can't for the life of me figure out how I'm supposed to enter it from the bottom of the screen...I tried coming at that room from every angle (as far as I know) and most of the time I get caught in the walls only for the screen to start to get dark and the game to kick me back to the start screen...what am I doing wrong? I'm not above spoilers at this point...
