yeah it does!

you can either buy :

1. Super Mario U for $60

2. Super Mario U for $60 + $20 DLC for both games online


OR :

4. Buy Super Luigi for $30, and then Super Mario U comes free with it?

OR

5. Buy the Mario and Luigi Wii U bundle, and it comes with (by your unlogic) 2 copies of Mario U AND New Luigi U!

New Super Luigi U retail Is the standalone version. It allows you to play it without being required to buy New Super Mario Bros. U. And saves you from having to use HDD space if you don't want to..
