The Cucco challenge isn't that bad, now that I look at it.

You aren't given a Piece of Heart for dodging for 999 seconds, so unless if you SERIOUSLY want that fat Cucco, it isn't really worth doing.

I did try it again, and didn't do bad. Yeah, 200 seconds is early, but the beginning is the reason why I didn't like attempting it to begin with. Whenever I dodged a Cucco, one from offscreen would fly in and hit me. The giant phase could easily be beaten just by standing in the center and moving very slightly to avoid Cuccos. It's also an easy way to get Rupees, lol.

Just saying though, if I had the patience, I'd try it again, but I don't want my heart broken at like, 997 seconds or something.

Yes, it's not that bad. It's one thousand times worse... the first 400 seconds are just warm up, the real bad stuff happens later on.

And yes, I do want this fat chicken, even though it's quite worthless. But I like to complete my Zelda games and it's part of the credits, so...

It's just ridiculous that the chicken doesn't get unlocked after 100 seconds. Maybe even 300 seconds... but all the way up to maximizing the counter? That's insane.

I think 300-500 seconds would have been fine, TBH.

No, 300 seconds max. I played this game hundreds of times now, I never got past 400... maybe I'm just really terrible at it, but I'm not the only one...

Not the only one at all... And yeah, I have to concur. This thing is insane squared.

No it's a terrible challenge, but I don't think it's worth freaking out about over a silly Cucco.

Agreed. I'm bummed that I can't do everything in a Zelda game (according to what I shoot for) for once. But the developers were freaking nuts when they included this challenge, so... it's not exactly haunting me that I can't do it. :-)

It doesn't sound bad until you realize that 999 seconds = 16.65 minutes.

It's only bad if you decide you want to 100% the game.
