And Venom Snake sounds much more badass.

In your opinion? Suuure.

Reality? No, it's a matter of opinion, A LOT of people think Solid Snake > Big Boss.

I prefer Solid, but this game could (and probably will) change that.

I find the character of Big Boss more compelling, but Solid Snake is excellent as well. Can't wait until MGS5 has you play as him! Mark it down.

I am sure many SS fans would place BB higher after playing MGSV.

SS used to be my favorite until I learned about Big Boss in MGS3, when I had played MGS games I always skipped 3 for some reason.

Hats down to Solid Snake for everything he's done, but Big Boss is on a whole different scale in terms of character, history and as a Snake.

I used to think the same, until I replayed MGS1. I really can't pick one over the other, so for me it's BB = SS

I prefer Solid Snake. He's the only Snake with the resolve to not turn to an 'ends justify the means' type of guy to instill change in the world... which ended up in the other Snakes doing extremely horrible things. He formed an organisation with Otacon to change the world into a better place without doing such things.

Even though he says otherwise - for me, SS is a true hero.
