Do you ever think they would make another DK64 type game ?

not exactly the same game but like the same format... i was hoping it was going to be like just more moves and stuff, this was more like a jump jump game to me...

Camelot has said they want to try their hand at a DK64 sequel, for what it's worth...

(And based on Diddy's animations in World Tour, I say let them.)

I like DK64 but its essentially a 2nd rate Banjo Kazooie, I'd rather they go with a different style.

It would cost too much and the DK franchise isn't very popular at the moment.

I'd love another DK64.

The aesthetics in Returns and especially Tropical Freeze certainly lay the groundwork for a visually beautiful game. There were always plenty of areas with backgrounds begging to be explored.

For the sake of the studio, Retro should probably do something that appeals to the tastes of their original Metriod fanbase ... something more "T" rated.
But if some studio were to pick up where they left off, or if Retro were to "Return" again, at some future point that would be incredible.

The main challenge, I guess, is that 3D platformers are have greatly fallen out of popularity, these days. Certainly the series would need to be updated in order to be successful with critics and sales.
