Good level design.

Well, it was their first attempt, they'll get it better next time.

I don't care. Others get it right on their first try and they had plenty of games to get inspiration like MegaMan or Mario.

Dude, just because you can get inspiration doesn't mean you can get it right on your first try,

It's a trial-and-error model.

Wow, some online reviewers really bash the game like no tomorrow... Here's a few things that might address their complaints:

- The feature to obtain a 6-pack or a 12-pack to have 6 bottles, then 12 bottles; some complained about that 3 lives was too low.

- Less hazards and death traps; some complained about those being rather unfair. I don't think it has to do with the actual level design, as it looks more like they crowded the levels with too many stuff.

- Mandatory stage portions to use the other characters; some actually complained about the fact the other characters are under-utilized. If this is added, then they need to be available at the start, like you obtain them in the tutorial stage so you can use them all in the upcoming stages. However, this will feel rather forced for some players if they end up using a character they just don't like.

- Less pricey; a LOT complained about the price. I get the feeling that Steam-only games have to be more expensive than PC ports of console games since the console games are already selling. Then again, if people would have bought the game more if it was only 5$, then maybe it could be considered.

- More levels; some complained about the game's length. 12 or 15 levels could be envisioned.

- Better graphics; appareantly, some complained about the 8-bit style looking bland. Maybe they could go 16-bit instead.

- Better jokes; some complained about the humor. Ok, this is VERY suggestive here. The game, at its core, was supposed to be a tribute to just about every joke the AVGN dropped in his shows. The stages' names, the stages' looks, the stages' enemies, the stages' bosses, everything was supposed to be AVGN related. Case in point: Beat It & Eat It; the ENTIRE stage is supposed to be a joke and reference to the Atari Porn episode.

- Better cameos: some complained about that. That was actually a weird problem to some. I didn't mind TBH.

SEQUEL? This game should never have even been made to begin with.

It, just like his movie, little plushy dolls, and that STUPID Cheetahmen scam were just excuses to MILK money from his fans.

Salty much?

If 15$ is considered "expensive" for you, then I'd hate to see your face when you preorder your console games at 4 times the price... _;

I never said anything about "expensive." You're just expressing the idiocy of the masses that donated THOUSANDS to a RICH MAN.

I wouldn't play this game for free (Which is EXACTLY what it should be as a THANK YOU to his fans) and anyone that does is forever stupid.

Where did you hear that the game was supposed to be a gift to fans?

Pretty sure it was a personal project...
