There a way to bypass the street pass?

Live in the mountains. Far from people. And I highly doubt people in the town will play this game. I know about the update thing.. But that is 3 people per day... Is there a way to bypass the time limit to this to get more people?

assuming you at least have WiFi access, you can get Villagers by using the Update Data option once a day

edit: after fully reading the post, no there's no way, although you could play the demo and carry over 20 via the exploit

also you get anywhere from 2-5 villagers, not a flat 3

Do you live in Wyoming as well? :)

I live in the mountains too. I'm in Montana though, far from the Wyoming border though.

Might want to look into setting up a streetpass relay.

"Might want to look into setting up a streetpass relay."

I was going to, but then I heard that I'd have to 'open up' the security on my router for that, and I'm in an apartment complex and there's a number of people here, so I'm not doing that.

At least there's a McDonald's across town and I get over there once in a while, and I can use the Nintendo Zone they have there.

Only if you want to use it an actual Nintendo Zone. My homepass setup is WPA2-protected, and I'm getting streetpasses just fine. (Unfortunately, there's a bug that prevents Bravely Default from getting passes while Mii Plaza has streetpass enabled, so you have to choose between villagers and Puzzle Swap pieces.)

Thank you for this piece of information. I have been looking for it for days.

Umm. About that relay thing and opening up security (and I'm not too tech savvy mind you) the guide I read said that it's not that big of a deal because you could set it up to where ONLY the port you were using for the relay was vulnerable and it'd only be possible for someone to get on your network if they had a 3DS with the EXACT Mac Address you were trying to relay. I think it required a bit of extra tinkering.

I can't do the relay, because my router wasn't compatible, my roommates are gamers and they'd flip if I messed with router settings AND it kind of hurt my head trying to read those stupid guides. Also in lazy.

It actually seems to be whatever is in the top left (most recently enabled one) of your streetpass game list that doesn't work, enabling streetpass in something I don't care about after bravely default makes it start working. This bug has been around for a few months :(
