I've found that one of the most satisfying aspects of this game is not grinding, and trying out different strategies on bosses until I find one that works (under certain additional, minor constraints, such as not using SP attacks). How do you like to approach this game's difficulty? --- I'm not a native English speaker...but I had a very strict teacher.
Slow? After reaching Ch5 their could just be a message : All of your Jobs are now Maxed. The jump in JP after Ch4 is ridiculous.
And the utter slog before then is also ridiculous.
Not really, there's the grinding spot outside of Eternia in Chp4 and in Vampire Castle's top floors you get 750-999 JP per battle with Growth Egg...not to mention JP UP is very easy to get. I got all the jobs available in Chp4 to lvl14 and it took like 2 hours total. Even in Chp3 you can grind in the northeastern islands as soon as you get the ship for like 200-300 JP and its quite feasible to get jobs to 14 at that point. --- PSN: UmaiCake || 3DS FC: 2079-6748-0153 || Pokemon XY IGN: Umai www.twitch.tv/umaicake
As long as you don't constantly turn off your Encounter Rate, there's absolutely no need to grind (save maybe final chapter bosses) --- PSN: TukangJamu FC: 0275-7638-5576 | Shuppet, Pumpkaboo, Dusclops
If JP wasn't so damn slow, there'd be no need for grinding.
I'm on chapter 4 of my first playthrough (hard difficulty) and I haven't had to grind, even for JP. Some battles, such as the guardian bot in Eternia, took me quite a few tries - especially whenever I found that I hadn't sufficiently leveled up a job that would've really helped for the fight - but this made victory all the more satisfying. --- I'm not a native English speaker...but I had a very strict teacher.
