What 3ds features are shoehorned into this game?

Because I think it was Black 2 which I couldn't access everything in without streetpass. Why? Not everyone lives near a big city and even then, not every country in the world has access to a massive group of people who play the 3DS.

Black 2: A game on a system that doesn't even have the Streepass feature, meaning it has no Streetpass features, is the basis for your tirade on Streetpass. Makes sense.

No matter how complex a game is, this video remains true. Especially this part.

The street passes aren't even up for the 1% of the whole game. With so much to offer, and ignoring all the alternatives, you decide to bash things. Lets be razoable here.

Optional? Ok, I'll give you a game, which you can only fully complete if you manage to live in certain cities. Otherwise, you'll still have no way to access all the content you paid money for. Also, there will be no reduced cost for not being able to access all the blatently discriminatory content. What about people with agoraphobia? Nintendo are being stupid with all this rubbish they're shoving into games.

I'm in Alaska, with limited StreetPass capability (only ever found 8 people locally because of random passing and a visit to the one Barnes and Noble book store we have here). I set up this weekend on an old router I had that was DD-WRT compatible, but it can be done with a computer with both wifi and ethernet also, or a smartphone with tethering. On Saturday I had my DS thinking I was in Japan, about 25 states in the US, 3 Canadian provinces, and half a dozen European countries. I got over 100 Street Passes that day.

It only took me about an hour to figure out how to get it set up, and that's because my desktop connects in an uncommon way, wifi to internet, so I had to use Ethernet to connect a second router that was bridged to the wifi. It only takes me about 2 minutes to toggle to another location and download the StreetPass information. It's great to set to the ID of a major airport and get a variety of people every 8 hours.

It had that thing where you needed to leave your DS on and it would send data with other people...it also drained a crapton of battery

XY you're missing out on some point and watching other people's videos. Based off what you're complaining about, you probably wouldn't care about it.

Bravely Default, you're missing out on having summons and villagers, you can get these by just updating data once a day.

Should probably research before you spout nonsense

Just because TC is being overly-dramatic, it doesn't mean that all of his points are somehow invalid. Yes, we've established that Bravely Default is not a major violater of Required Streetpass functions- that's why the thread was made. He's not complaining about BD Streetpass, he's complaining about it in general. And when you live in rural areas, you have to resort to ridiculous tricks like above, or you just go without.
