Hell there is a trophy for not killing them.

Your Big Boss find another solution

Except Big Boss is supposed to be murder happy at this point so there's no reason for him not to kill ever single person on the base as that's the only right way to portray his character.

You clearly know nothing about Big Boss...

you can put them in a jeep and drive out of the base as well as helicopter extract them

What the **** are you talking about with the 'this is PS4' and 'outdated PS3' statements? What does console power matter when it comes to holding stats for missions?

You know what's stupid, though? You have to use a tranq gun; you can't use CQC to knock them out, unless my game glitched. I grabbed the guy without being seen and I wasn't able to knock him out because the option just wouldn't work.

Not at this point, not. He's the legendary hero Big Boss at this point. His vicious cycle of war and death isn't until the 80s proper, after everything goes ****-up for him. Ground Zeroes is the edge of that cliff-face, and murder is still bad for that at least.

It's supposed to start at the end of MGS3. Now we've been flat out told that never happened as both the legendary solider and mass murder was propaganda created by Zero in MGS4. Big Boss will never become the monster and that destroys any legs the series had.

Ground Zeroes starts at the end of Peace Walker. MGS3 is the beginning of the story, building up naked Snake into Big Boss.

That doesn't matter. Kojima's made it clear that he will not have Big Boss go bad. BB goes past the point of no return, there's noway for him to be able to have the conversation with Snake at the end of MGS4. There's nothing resembling a human in Naked Snake by the time MG1 rolls around.

Isn't Kojima trying to show BBs fall from grace. I hope TPP doesn't have a no-kill stat and kill penalties.

There are no in-game penalties, it's just for the optional score system. The ranking system in MGS has been weighted towards non-lethal for a while, even though it's implied that canonically, the characters do kill.

It's just an optional ranking system.

I thought canonically the only people Snake (Naked or Solid) kills are those that die in cutscenes or that can't be passed without killing them. Otherwise he just doesn't get spotted.
