Tips on beating the greater werewolf?

I can't seem to damage him at all and when I do magic on him he stays uninjured.

Did you get Werebane (silver dagger) and the Sword of Balduran, from the wolfwere's ship? They're both +4 weapons against werewolves, which is what you need to hit the greater werewolves. And pretty much their only use in the game.

also GWs regenerate so it helps to give the weapons to characters with high attack rates and high to-hit and damage (hasted fighters)
