Eve and it's evolution HELP

#1DeNiroIVPosted 4/12/2008 2:26:03 AM

Hey guys.

When you get that free Eve in one of the city's ( sorry i forgot which ) it comes as level 25 , should you evolve it straight away, asi did, into Jolteon and Jolteon hasn't learned any new moves by growing levels yet and it's level 31.

Can some one help?

Also, i lost my gameboy so i downloaded an emulater from the internet and the blue version ROM, i was wondering if anyone new of anyway to link two ROMS up to trade as i have a Graveller and i want an Alakazam.

Thanks in advancefor the help.

Level the Eevee up when you get it, there's little point to keeping it as an Eevee.

You check check their level up moves here:

Eevee http://www.serebii.net/pokedex/133.shtml
Vaporeon http://www.serebii.net/pokedex/134.shtml
Jolteon http://www.serebii.net/pokedex/135.shtml
Flareon http://www.serebii.net/pokedex/136.shtml

If you plan on using Jolteon, you should use your Thunderbolt TM on him since he can't learn it naturally. If you evolved him after level 31, you missed Thundershock. Sorry.

Gravelers don't tend to evolve into Alakazams, but good luck with that. :) You can use the Mew Glitch to get a Golem, Gengar, and Zam without trading, thats far easier that trying to link ROMs.

Consult the Glitch FAQ on the Pokemon Yellow FAQ page. The Mew Glitch can be used to encounter all sorts of Pokemon, including evolved forms not normally available in the wild. The Sticky explains how to trigger the glitch, but the Glitch FAQ tells you what trainers will trigger other types of Pokemon. Here's an example. - IIRC, there is a bug catcher in Viridian Forest that will cause you to encounter a Nidoking once you go back to your long range trainer. It's the best way to complete your Pokedex without other gameboys and versions to trade with IMO.

I remember finding some programs using Google that will simulate linked games... I'm sure there's a modified version of VisualBoy Advance that will do this and that VisualBoy Advance plays standard GameBoy games but I don't know if you can use it to link Gameboy Games (I've only used it for GBA games).

TGB Dual and several other emulators (But NOT VBA Link) can link GB/GBC Roms.
