The new Elder Scrolls novel came out(spoilers for post morrowind)

#1psoesmPosted 11/25/2009 11:43:48 AM
it just came out yesterday and explains some things that happened after morrowind and oblivion. I found the part about morrowind to be the most interesting since I wasnt expecting it.

I recommend getting it since it's pretty good so far but for those who dont plan on getting it....

spoilers

The Argonians drive the Dunmer our of Morrowind. That's quite possibly the last thing I expected to happen when I found out that Morrowind had become shattered in the prologue.

End spoilers

The An-Xileel and the Hist basically united them against three common enemies(the oblivion gates, the empire, and the dunmer)

they ended the oblivion invasion in their province due to their numbers since they invaded Dagons realm itself.
Drove the empire out of black marsh and then invaded Morrowind and the drove the dark elves out.

if you have any other questions about post-elder scrolls IV just ask me since im still reading it and finding out a lot of what happened after oblivion.

The Infernal City by Greg Keyes came out Tuesday

more information regarding morrowind:

Red Mountain went off
The Ministry of Truth in Vivec City(originally a moon from oblivion) lost its suspension in the air since Vivecs powers that were holding it up dissipated slamming into Vivec city and annihilating Vvardenfell.

How did it annihilate it?
it wasn't even that high up

when the spell wore off it fell at the same velocity it originally was going at before Vivec stopped it.

Even so, it wasn't that big or that far away. That seems really farfetched.

everything was scaled down in the game and doesnt really matter how far or big it was since it was still moving at an extremely fast speed and nothing is farfetched in a metaphysical world
