If you have comcast, you can go on On Demand and go on Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network. If not, they have a lot on Youtube. Or if you have a DVR, Nicktoons Network usually runs old cartoons in the early morning/late night. --- "Its not like im speak like some brian dead 10 year old."- Pokefilm Pittsburgh Steelers: 1-1 |
_Hisako_Posted 9/24/2012 4:47:42 PM | Does anyone here listen to Sabaton? It's a really good Swedish metal band. I'll give a few examples of their work.

They've got a lot more, too. A lot of their songs are in both English and Swedish, which I think is pretty cool. I haven't heard many of the Swedish versions, but both are great. --- moshimoshi, jimmies desu The sky was blue, but there was no God. |
puffinslaughterPosted 9/25/2012 12:10:15 PM | Sounds like a Swedish Trivium. --- "Its not like im speak like some brian dead 10 year old."- Pokefilm Pittsburgh Steelers: 1-1 |
_Hisako_Posted 9/25/2012 1:14:21 PM | Do they really? I've only heard probably one song by Trivium before and I didn't really like it. I've always referred to Sabaton as like a Swedish Five Finger Death Punch. The singers look alike in a way, too. I think so at least. --- moshimoshi, jimmies desu The sky was blue, but there was no God. |
puffinslaughterPosted 9/25/2012 4:12:49 PM | Trivium has a few good songs. I like In Waves, Like Light to Flies, Ascendancy, and Black. I never like FFDP that much. Although I don't mind Hard to See. --- "Its not like im speak like some brian dead 10 year old."- Pokefilm Pittsburgh Steelers: 1-2 |
_Hisako_Posted 9/25/2012 5:27:27 PM | Have you heard Far From Home by FFDP before? It's less of a heavy rock song and more of a ballad. It's beautiful really. --- moshimoshi, jimmies desu The sky was blue, but there was no God. |
puffinslaughterPosted 9/25/2012 8:43:58 PM | I have. No opinion on it really, I don't hate it or love it. I do like that it's a step in a different direction instead of the norm for them. --- "Its not like im speak like some brian dead 10 year old."- Pokefilm Pittsburgh Steelers: 1-2 |
Trav97Posted 9/26/2012 10:26:36 AM | I honestly liked the cover of Bad Company by FFDP. It stayed true enough to the original that, for a generic mainstream metal band, was an impressive adaptation to an old classic.
But I admit, that would not have been a song I'd have felt comfortable covering. --- GT: Hailfire97x --Shameless FM4 Storefront Advertisement! Keyword: Hailfire Racing http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e227/Trav97x/PDXSigline.jpg |
