Kingdom Hearts II

I know there's been some theories on how to unlock it and such, but here's a pretty good story that I've remembered over it:

When they made it unlockable for a short duration in this game, I used to abuse the drive until I got access to this form, but I've read claims about it being unlocked in another way. I played with anti-form repeatedly over and over again and it made the game pretty much of a challenge since you can't use recovery items. But... What are your thoughts on it? Do you like this form or do you hate it? And how would you actually unlock it? Because if it was in the drive menu, you could use it at any time you would want to. Would you agree?

It's slightly better than Valor in terms of power, but still garbage. No Magic, Guard, or any sort of evasion makes it bottom tier. Not being able to use Items or Revert doesn't help. By the time you finish Space Paranoids 1 (in vanilla) Sora's physical attacks are stronger (especially in the air) and have better reach and coverage, actual defenses, and Magic. Final, Wisdom and Summons are superior to it in every manner. And Master has a higher damage potential.

Dislike, as it only provides another reason to use Summons over Forms and Anti itself is bad.

And how would you actually unlock it?

With a cheat device *hohoho*

In seriousness, FM+ gives a keyblade for beating Roxas thats makes you Drive into either Final or Anti everytime you Drive.

A game altering device? I used to have Gameshark but it would explicitly be used at certain parts but for the other forms, I'd use the most powerful weapons and accessories possible, even so, tell me this:
Do your accessories apply to this form, or is your strength determined by the accessories/keyblade you have equipped on you? How would you determine your damage?

Don't know for sure. If I had to guess, armor and accessories apply to your stats while keyblades don't. Pretty sure the keyblade's ability (the important part) doesn't apply to Anti in any case.

No wonder why it's recommended that you have the most powerful accessories and be at the highest level possible in order for you to survive and play around in this kind of form. But, would your thought about it change if the heartless would NOT attack you if you were in this form (meaning that there's no encounters with the heartless) or if there's some, you would have to fight it to have no encounters? But for me to say, I do like to play with the form but it's too bad I don't get to see a heartless emblem on sora while he's in this form.

As in, not attacking at all? Would this apply to Nobodies too? I guess that could be useful in the Hades Paradox Cup, but I'd still consider it bad. Magic just handles regular enemies so much easier and faster than what Anti can accomplish (even with enemies not attacking), which is compounded when Wisdom/Final/Summons are taken into account. And it still has the problems of being randomly triggered, screwing you in boss fights (Xaldin) and not lasting very long.

Hate it. Once I unlocked Final Form I used nay abused it since it will never revert to Anti Form. When you use forms there is a "meter" that fills. It will either give you Final (I went Master on Xemnas in the fight before he goes into KH but went Final instead) or it will give you Anti. There is no way of finding the bar/meter just the more forms you use the more likely it will be that you will change into a form other than the one you wanted. Final however resets the bar/meter to zero. As does going into Anti at a random time. BE WARNED THIS METER THING USES A PERCENT COUNTER SO YOU MIGHT GO ANTI TWICE IN A ROW!!!

Now this is me covering my butt. I usually get Final so late in the game that I have never reverted to Anti. I have just read that it does not happen. I am not sure how I get Final Form anyway I just get it and have and use it.

**** never happened to me once. I can't get the light and dark keyblade in the game since I have a different version. Do you have that keyblade? If you have it equipped, that might be the case. But however, can you tell me if you think it would be worth using before you get final form? I sorta do like final form to myself, but Anti form is getting the most hate and insults over other forms. I kinda would hate to go play as a heartless twice in a row in two transformations.

BTW (Maybe a spoiler read and answer at your own risk so you don't ruin a suprise),

Doesn't sora have a heartless emblem located on his anti form when you transform into anti-sora? I have seen some concept art of anti sora WITH a heartless emblem, but I don't think you can see one on him in the actual game. But if you do, can someone tell me where it would be?

I just got it in Halloween town. Can anyone verify if it's drive abuse, taking damage while in a form, or both conditions that do unlock it?

I don't like it but I think it's kind of fun, and it was the cause of my favorite boss defeat(Killing Critical mode Xigbar with it's transformation explosion)
