Since Sora let Jack Sparrow take his keyblade and Jack got to hold it, doesn't that mean they basically did that ceremony to pass the keyblade on to Jack? I'm doing a replay of KH2 before KH3D and noticed this.

Try fitting in a replay of KH, as well. Small KH spoiler: In particular, there's a notable seen in Traverse Town, in the Hotel's Green Room, during the early going after Sora first arrives. Very similar and as jurfi1 said, not a handoff.

An important part is that both the inheritor and the wielder have to be touching the key at the same time. Which eliminates Leon from what I remember.
It never shows Leon taking the Key from Sora in KH1, he just has it when Sora revives. Unless Sora dropped the blade completely then Leon would have had to prise it from his fingers or at the very least lift it from his hand.
So the possibility is there, but it still seems unlikely. I don't actually remember whether or not the Keyblade is dropped when Sora blacks out.
Edit: Checked it out, Sora is holding the Keyblade even whilst fainted. Unless both persons involved need to be concious, Leon could not possibly have avoided the contact mentioned.

It's not even certain that it's Leon who takes the blade at this point either, Yuffie could easily have done so and then handed it to Leon after the event.
