Ahem, well I have been playing bn3 for long time and though I haven't 100% it yet, I have done ALOT. So anyhow, here's a folder I made out of boredom, just a warning its original use is to kill punk and get money, but I figure, hey, it could probably work in an actual battle, but I let you all judge that. anyhow here it is. First of all, well done on having a definite focus and some synergy. I can see a lot of stuff centering on DarkMan, which is cool. As far as the rest of the folder goes, there's good bits and bad bits. Good that you have MetaGel, Invis and Rook. They're great for defense, but you may want to pack some Moles and Shadows as well, just to have a comprehensive defense. FastGuage is always handy, but really isn't required. If your opponent has one, it's useless. If he doesn't have one, its handy, but the space can be used more effectively. LifeAura is a mistake, I think. It's nice that you're obviously trying to combine it with HolyPanel for a 400 Aura, but people have measures to prevent this, like stage control that not only gets rid of HolyPanel, but in folders such as Disco Inferno and Flash Crusher, doubles the damage you take, so they only need 100 damage to break it. Plus, NorthWind breaks it anyway. Take it out and replace it with FullCust, is my advice. Preset FullCust as well. Apart from LifeAura boosting, what is HolyPanel doing in here? Is this an attempt at stage control? It's a nice addition, but since it only really augments one chip, and isn't foolproof in any way, its a waste of space. As for MudWave, is this your backup attack? I can see problems here. It doesn't pierce Invis or Shadow, and gets stopped by obstacles. It seems like filler to me. I'd advise you to replace it with VarSword, as you can pull off ESW and pierce LifeAura/Shadow, as long as you boost the attack power. Overall, it's not bad, but it could be better. Good job on unicode and focus, but it seems fragmented and open to attack. You don't have enough ways to pierce defenses, and LifeAura isn't the best way to play a waiting game. first, put fastgauge in your navi cust, or present it. also, i would add fullcust, but thats just me seeing it everywhere, and that it's posibly the second best chip in the game and comes in * code. but w/e OK, onto the folder. Like the last guy, this looks like a poormans Renound folder. Specifically: IVm. You only have 4 areagrabing chips, and in an actual netbattle, it ain't going to work out. Also, you have no way to get rid of rooks, so if someone puts one down(and they're common as hell) you're screwed. Also, if there is a hole on the field, you can areagrab until it heals, and at that point you're probably already dead. You have no way of hitting invis, and I'm pretty sure no way of hitting mole(does Mudwave hit mole? (i forgot) You also have no piercing chips, so yeah, good luck with that. All these problems come with the territory of making a darkman folder, but you just intensify them needlessly. No fullcust and only 4 areagrab chips mean you will almost never get a row-lock when you need it. Instead you have 4 holy panels that are no doubt for Life Aura, but there is only one of those, so you have a slim chance of getting it with fullcust and a 10 chip draw. As is your just creating unnecessary clutter. MudWave isn't a bad chip, it's just not as effective in a DarkMan folder. Still, it does nice stunning and Wood damage with great range, but it has a bit of a lag time after using it. It's decent for ingame though, since it can take care of Viruses quite well, especially the nasty Elec element ones. | |
hey, not bad for something I used in game, I suggest you guys give it a try against punk, its fun to own him with, I literally don't have to try to get an S-rank. anyhow, thx for the first poster on actually RATING the folder instead of just saying "make it like the renowned one!" I appreciate that some one likes a little variety. Honestly, I don't really care to much about the fact this isn't a great folder to netbattle with, but seriously, if I wanted to make the renowned folder, or something similar I would have. Anyways its really fun to kill punk with *surrounds self with rooks and laughs when he can't do anything* and I'll probably post another folder here soon, once again designed with in-game purposes in mind, but rated as a net battle folder, so yeah, thanks to all posts good and bad, hopefully you'll post on my next one as well. --- "...AND WHERE THE HELL IS HASIRE?!?!?!?" ~pwnagecumseasy | |
This folder is "respectable." --- There never was a post. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and refracted the light from Venus. |
