According to this website, the original AM2 X2 4000 was clocked at 2Ghz and had 1MB of Cache.

But it doesn't matter now, I still need to use newer processors for that example so I don't confuse people.

eagle could you go into more detail about the fans like what are all the numbers and other things like that for air fans. also could you make a sound card section for those who will use the sound card for sound production or whatever. one last thing could you make a wireless adapter guide(if its not to hard) since i have to use wireless internet.

I am sorry man, but all those things you listed would fall under the do your own research, portion of my guide. I am sure you can figure it out, and if you have any questions I will gladly answer them, but first research the subjects a bit and then ask me if you have any questions.

Figuring out fans really isn't that hard. Look for the CFM, that's the airflow, the larger the CFM, the more air gets pushed, which means more air circulation.

The RPM stands for how fast the fan blade turns.

The noise level of dB stands for how loud the fan is, the lower the better.

That's all you really have to look at (in my opinion)

Just something I'd like to point out:

If anyone is interested to find out what brands other people use for different computer parts, this is a good site to check out:
http://valid.x86-secret.com/stats.php

*Just select what you want to see and you get the results fast.*

(also: the CPU-z program itself is a really good program to use)
