That's what AMD was banking on, back when they started designing it. They figured that since they and Intel were both making dual and quad cores that programs would start using multiple cores. Problem was, they didn't. So they made a bet that programmers would do the sensible thing with all these cores available, and they were wrong. --- Steam sales. There are at least 9 every week, including mid week madness and weekend deals.

Multithreading isn't magic. You don't flip a switch, and suddenly, the ****ty 8-core system is better than the high quality quadcore. --- mmarkster posted... Even though the game runs in 720p, it produces another 480p stream for the New Controller. That's like 1200p!
