Just the hardware and case is needed nothing else just the tower. Can run be able to run most modern games at 1920x1080p with max texture quality and 4x AA no other graphic settings matter much to me.

Do you live near a microcenter? Get the i5 3570k for 190 and the z77 extreme for 90.

Everything else is going to be on amazon.. Case - NZXT tech H2 for 100.. PSU Corsair 650W for 90.. Ram-Patriot gamer 8gb for 47... Graphics Geforce gtx 556 ti for 115... then just get a basic 20 dollar optical drive and you're on your own for a hard drive because you didn't say how much space you needed or how fast you want the computer to be

good luck

What? I hope you aren't recommending a 550ti; those are horrible. I would suggest a ~400W psu, an i3-2100 and a gpu like a 6870.

400w and a 6870? Kind of light there.

True, but it all depends on the model. A strong 430W psu should have no problem running this card.

Make sure to shop around for the 3570k as well. I was able to grab one new off of Ebay from a reputable seller for 200 with free shipping.
