Is 1280x1024 any good for gaming?

1280x960 is 4:3.
1280x1024 is 5:4.

Even though the game runs in 720p, it produces another 480p stream for the New Controller. That's like 1200p!

1280 x 1024 is perfectly fine.

Going from it to 1080p I noticed no difference while also getting a tremendous FPS drop. I'd go back to 1280 x 1024 if I could.

I think you're really disingenuous. I think you make things up to feed some sort of internal pride. You are like that kid who purposely says wrong things and believes them vehemently in some misguided attempt to show strength of character.

I know people like you in real life, and they're generally pathological liars. They constantly make stuff up about their lives, facts, situations, observations, anecdotes. Anything really.

They also have no attention to detail or nuance. Art usually goes right over their head.

They fail to see hypocrisy and contradiction in others and in themselves. Politics is so far from their realm of understanding. They're generally either completely conservative, or tin foil hat liberal.

And above all they're proud of this ignorant, misguided, bullheaded persona. They wear it like a badge of honour.

I'm so sorry if I noticed no difference going from 1024p to 1080p.

Some people (like me) prefer 60FPS over graphical quality. And when this FPS drop comes with almost no graphical enhancement whatsoever it's a no-brainer. I left behind my 1080p monitor though, and I'm gonna get a 1280 x 1024 cheap monitor.

Am I proud of it? No, why would I be? Am I glad? Hell yes, same graphical quality while boosting my FPS tremendously? Sign me up.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. You proudly assert that you can't tell the difference between a near square and a rectangle. It's just bullheaded idiocy. And you'll try to argue this and proudly assert it over and over.

You're predictable.

1400 x 900 master race reporting. But in all honesty, I've been using this same monitor (19") for years and I can't imagine using anything bigger. Also I get to run games smoothly with relatively medium specs, so nice.

For ripping into a poster who constantly posts obviously ridiculous opinions and trolls the forum half the time with copy pasta?

If anything I'm trying to take out the trash.

What does he ever contribute? He has almost no knowledge on anything software or hardware related. He just posts copy pasta troll posts about PC vs. console gaming and states obviously idiotic opinions that no dignified man would ever be proud to assert.

He runs around insulting PC gaming and himself posting the way he does.

I'm just stating how things are, I'm not proud of anything. A blind man obviously can't tell the difference either, would he proudly say "I'm blind so I don't see a difference"? I think not.

I just can't tell the difference between 1024p and 1080p. I noticed... wait for it.... THE BIGGER SCREEN duh, other than that, games looked the same and ran worse.
