I got a laptop for 550 that runs Diablo 3 on high settings beautifully so spending double that will net you the same results or better

I recommend a Macbook variant. There really are no other laptops that compare at that pricepoint.

eww macs....

i cant deal with mac OS (whatever its called), I feel like the things a giant iphone that restricts what you can do. On my pc i can command prompt pretty much anythingi need, i dont think i can deal with a mac.

really i just want something to run D3 if not max (although would be nice) medium, and if possible battlefield 3 on medium.

The other variable is screen size, 11.6' seems a tad small, so maybe 13-15.6'??

Ignore the person who just recommended a Mac. You said you wanted to game and you would be shooting yourself in the foot by getting a Mac.

11in is pretty bad to game on. I would reccomend this laptop. It's 15in but still pretty light. Slightly lighter than the 15in MacBook pro.

It will max diablo 3 and probably get battlefield 3 at around high settings. You do need to get it online though, but xoticpc is very reputable. Battery life will also be as stellar as you can get with a discrete graphics card.

Diablo 3 can run on medium on just about anything. Batllefield 3 is much more intensive. I would recommend the new Asus G75 with the GeForce 670M.

I don't think he needs a 670m. The Asus laptop is pretty expensive compared to a laptop with a 650m (The card I think that would suit his needs very well).

It's an American site, but they will ship to other countries. You should hop onto their forums or give them a call and they will explain everything they can do for you. They are extremely nice to talk to and really do want to help you purchase the computer right for you.

I do think that the GE60 is the best bet for you. It's a Gerry good deal for what you are getting.

The ASUS G75 is a bit overpriced when judged on it's performance. A similarly specced Clevo will run you a bit less and doesn't look any worse imo.
