Wow... that's amazing. Who knew computers depreciate in value?!

Are you done? Sometimes it's actually neat to see the advances in computing. Unless a TC is obviously trolling or being an idiot, there's no reason and no need to come in here being an ass.

Crap. I've always known that computers get better over time, but seeing a 7-year old Sager looking pretty crappy in comparison to my brand new Sager..

If only gamefaqs would archive PC topics so I can read this post from later on with my next computer setup, years from now. I already am starting to feel sorry for my brand new Sager, doomed to suck eventually.

Best way to determine what each laptop GPU can run on each game. Look for yours in CP

You think you got it bad? My core i7 rig will be obliterated by the Intel HiveMindGX processor coming down the pipe in a decade, I mine as well set it out on the curb right now.

"Hyperthreading? Psh. This beauty can process 16 threads at once, and turbo up to 32 threads when needed be."

It's really sad to see, when 7 years ago, a gaming laptop's dedicated graphics card is worse than an integrated graphics card today, let alone a year or 2 ago it was already beaten.

What's even more interesting is looking at gaming-level hardware from the 1990s. I always get surprised when I look at system requirements on my game boxes from that era. Age of Empires II needed a 166MHz processor, a graphics card with 2MB of VRAM, and (wait for it) a staggering 32MB of RAM!

I'm pretty sure a 2008 era Nvidia 9400m performs similarly to the x700.
