Not sure what you mean by "the next Minecraft" though. They seem to be extremely different.

Not sure what you mean by "the next Minecraft" though. They seem to be extremely different.

Are you kidding me? It is quite obviously inspired by minecraft even if it builds on it a lot and has a different atmosphere.

umm all FPS today pretty much owe it all to Doom/Wolf3D. So yea...

I'd say the fact that you can add/remove various blocks in a set cube grid draws a fairly solid parallel to Minecraft. That, and the developers' own comment that they drew inspiration from WarCraft III, Minecraft, and Halo for the game...
