Some you don't have to be online to play or install.

Go buy the boxed copies of Diablo and Diablo 2. Or see if you can hunt down some of the old DnD games on ebay. Kotor, Kotor 2. Emulate a PS1 or SNES and play games you happen to own legally.

Steam sales. There are at least 9 every week, including mid week madness and weekend deals.

Witcher 2 if you haven't played it by now. Saw it at Target for $20 and it comes with two discs, and lots of content, including maps and manuals and such.

Oh yeah! Thanks! You just reminded me I have Bleem PC. I should be able to put that on my Windows 7 Tablet. Maybe not, because it worked with the PS1 game disk and the tablet does not have a disk drive.

Titan Quest. Just started it and it's really good. After playing diablo 3 this 4 your old game looks just as good a D3...

While I may not agree with your opinion, I will defend to the death your right to have it.

This will keep you busy for a while assuming you like CRPGs that use the D&D rulesets.

Even PS2. Most of the popular games have had all of the issues worked out of them. So long as you have a strong CPU you'll be good.

Planescape Torment
Fallout 1 and 2
Arcanum
System Shock 2
Betrayal at Krondor
The original Deus Ex
Ultima VII
Baldur's Gate 1 and 2
Icewind Dale 1 and 2
Elder Scrolls series
And I don't believe Mass Effect 1 and 2 have an online requirement. Not sure about Mass Effect 3.
