Just getting an idea for all of this because I'm clueless with building/buying computers
EDIT: You can find the specs a little lower down if you can't actually see it first time, took me a little while --- Its time to nut up or shut up It's after 11.11.11 now, don't bother me

The base model is awful for the price.
Give us a budget and what you want to do with it and someone can pick out some parts from ecollegepc.com for you. Much better use of your money.

The general consensus on the board is that Alienware is trash for the price, You could do a lot better with your money by another brand or by building yourself maybe? for Alienware a lot of the extra is paying for the brand and flashy lights. --- Bulldozer@4.2 , OCZ vertex+OCZ Agility, WD 500GB, Corsair h40, MSI 6870,8gb Corsair Vengeance.

Hmm right well thats ok then, I've found a site for custom PC building in Ireland. I'll play around with the options there then maybe I come back here and get a bit of help? Don't know when but sure I'm taking my time to see what's what here
