i5 is better. That build should be great, except that the PSU is some brand I've never heard of. It might be pretty bad.

Even though the game runs in 720p, it produces another 480p stream for the New Controller. That's like 1200p!

If you're building a PC to "last you a while," I would get a CPU that you could overclock in the future once it's starts showing age.

i5 2500k or any Intel-based CPU model ending with "K" are unlocked so you can overclock. If you're not looking to overclock, don't worry about it. The build looks good except for that DarkZV said about the PSU.

Much better and it's plenty of power.

the corsair cx600 is the cheapest psu that's even decent on ecollegepc. get the antec earthwatts 650 green as it's $2 more than the cx600 and WAY more powerful and better.

A decent 400w unit would be enough for that build. The 600w CX is more than enough. You may want to go with a lower wattage, higher quality line, though. Antec EarthWatts, HCG, TruPower New and Corsair TX and HX lines are top quality stuff.

Yeah, I'd recommend intel over AMD for the CPU though.
