Just finished my first build, however I'm running on an old video card. It's a Radeon 5770 and I'm currently running two monitors. However, I want to upgrade and get a third monitor... my issue is should I buy dual 6850s or buying one 7850? I don't want to spend more than $300. All the monitors are DVI, so I'm assuming I would have to buy one or two adapters for mini displays.

6850CF will be a bit faster but one 7850 would be better in every other way.

Two 6850s will perform perform better.

I'd say the HD7850. Newer tech, lower power consumption, much quieter.

7850 as well, though the price of cfx 6850's is very attractive. catch a deal with good rebates(even though i hate rebates for obvious reasons) and you can probably bag them for $100 a piece.
