hey guys, just got a new PC & want to do my best to keep it secure & running 100%. I bought Kaspersky Internet Security 2012, but curious if I need any other programs for malware/adware/etc.

Programs I'm currently using are:
CCleaner
Adblock (Firefox)
O&O Defrag.
Tune-Up Utilities
Kaspersky Internet Security

What else should I get? Not worried about price, just want the best.

Thanks in advance.

No, but even common sense can't prevent everything. Drive-by downloads can be pretty nasty, and that's why you want safeguards, no matter how great your "common sense" is.

As for this:

CCleaner
Adblock (Firefox)
O&O Defrag.
Tune-Up Utilities
Kaspersky Internet Security

CCleaner, O&O Defrag and Tune-Up Utilities don't really have anything to do with security. Defrag is mostly useless these days. CCleaner and Tune-Up are kind of the same, and since CCleaner is free, I recommend you keep that and discard the other.
That leaves you with AdBlock for Firefox and Kaspersky, both of which are fine to have. You might want to add NoScript for Firefox.

Well, yea I know all those aren't for security purposes, should have renamed the title....asking advice on security programs and PC cleaning/maintenance programs.

Microsoft Security Essentials+Malwarebytes=Better than CRAPsperspy.

If you just got a PC I suggest using Ninite.com , they have all the programs you need to get you up and running without going to 20 different sites.
