brand new computer having program crashes, blue screen physical dumps

specs in a sec (might have a crash before i can post it). what causes this?

Windows 7 64-bit
i5-3450 @ 3.1 ghz
8gb DDR3 ram (amd)
2x Seagate HDD, did a full format of both drives
gtx570 asus directcu ii

no OCs, temps look good

Well the reason you might be getting program crashes,bsod and physical dumps might be due to the amd ram you got in their. I take it you didn't check online to see what ram is compatible and what isn't compatible with your motherboard.

i was going to get kingston but the guy told me the amd was on sale (was $10 cheaper) and was compatible. bummer if it isn't.

Most likely case is faulty memory.

error is saying dxgmms1 is to blame, will try swapping ram.

actually been stable the past couple hours, running memtest and prime95 should help isolate it right? what's a good gpu stresser (just in case that has an issue)?

so memtest86 passed, that writes off the memory...
