Hypothetically speaking... is it possible to...

crack someone WEP key for their Wi-Fi?

The word trivial comes to mind
Know the rules well, so you can break them effectively.

Why would that be trivial? My friend use to use some app on his phone that was able to crack every WiFi network he tried it on. If anything I'd expect someone asking this question to want to bypass someone's network security, haha.

It's just a password, of course it's possible to crack it.
The moderation staff and system on this website are both absolutely terrible.

In hypothetical terms, any password's possible to break. It's not even a hypothetical situation to break a WEP key, though. It's not even really a challenging situation.

It's trivial because it's a flawed protocol with known weaknesses
Know the rules well, so you can break them effectively.

People still use WEP?
It's pretty BS that you have to have an internet connection to download games now a days. -GeneralGilbert

you can crack WEP in less than 30 seconds; WPA2 might take days.

GameFAQs isn't going to be merged in with GameSpot or any other site. We're not going to strip out the soul of the site.
